Teaneck, NJ – October 1, 2010 – To help raise both money and awareness for women’s cancers, Holy Name Medical Center will partner with Saks Fifth Avenue Bergen County to host the 2010 Key To The Cure, a charity shopping weekend taking place from Thursday, October 21 through Sunday, October 24.
To launch this year’s event, Saks Fifth Avenue at The Shops at Riverside will host a Key To The Cure kick-off celebration on Wednesday, October 20 at 6:30 PM, featuring music, refreshments, and, of course, shopping. A percentage of all sales from the entire charity shopping weekend will be donated to Holy Name’s Breast Center.
Wednesday’s kick-off celebration will feature designer Paul Sinclair of Sinclaire 10 where he will offer one-on-one styling sessions, jewelry designer Barry Brinker as well as special gift offers from Estee Lauder. The weekend will also feature Trunk Shows and other gift with purchase specials from select vendors.
Saks will also offer a limited-edition Key To The Cure T-shirt designed by Donna Karan, available beginning Friday, October 1 and retailing for $35 in Saks stores, Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH stores and on saks.com. 100% of the purchase price of each shirt sold will be donated to local charity partners.
Actress Uma Thurman is the 2010 Ambassador for Saks Fifth Avenue’s Key To The Cure. In support of this program, Ms. Thurman will appear in a national public service announcement (PSA) wearing the Donna Karan limited-edition T-shirt.

The Breast Center at Holy Name Medical Center provides comprehensive breast health care for women and men of all ages in a comfortable and supportive environment. The clinical team includes board-certified radiologists who specialize in breast imaging and interventional breast procedures, registered nurses, female technologists, breast surgeons and pathologists.
