New York, NY – June 25, 2010 – New York City is the center of the HIV/AIDS epidemic. 1 in 70 New Yorkers around you are infected. 1 in 4 people with HIV do not know they are positive. Sunday June 27th is National HIV Testing Day, an annual observance to promote HIV testing, founded in 1995 by the National Association of People with AIDS (NAPWA).
