This year’s winners were selected from a total of 350 entries. All entrants were judged by a panel of recognized professionals from outside the New England region and evaluated on their quality and achievement of desired results.

Stamford Hospital received Gold awards for:

• Excellence in Writing Pitch Letters/Press Releases – for the pitch letter on the benefits of colonoscopies;
• Advertising – Print for the "Discover More" campaign;
• Advertising ­– Television for the "Discover More" campaign; and
• Website – Design for the re-launch of Stamford Hospital’s website.

Stamford Hospital’s entries that received the Award of Excellence include: 

• Excellence in Writing Letters – for the Economic Downturn Update to the Community;
• Media Relations – for the Mobile Wellness Center launch at Stew Leonard’s in Norwalk; and
• Public Relations Projects – for the Employee Partnership Survey promotion.
