Brooklyn, NY – June 3, 2010 – Known among her peers as “grace under fire” and a “tremendous asset,” Alicia Sybico, R.N., a resident of Roselle Park, N.J., was recently chosen to receive New York Methodist Hospital’s 2010 Nurse of Distinction Award at the annual Nurse of Distinction Award Ceremony. The celebration honors registered nurses, nurse technicians and unit secretaries who make invaluable contributions to NYM each day. The annual awards ceremony is part of a series of events held during New York Methodist’s Nursing Appreciation Week.
“I want to thank you today and the other 364 days of the year not only for your contributions to the Hospital, but for your high level of professionalism,” Rebecca Flood, R.N., senior vice president for nursing, said to the nurses in attendance.
