Ridgewood, NJ – May 19, 2010 – Nancy Librera, Assistant Vice President of Oncology Services at The Valley Hospital, was recently honored as a year 2010 recipient of the Tribute to Women and Industry (TWIN) Award from the YWCA of Bergen County.

The TWIN Awards are presented annually by the YWCA of Bergen County to outstanding businesswomen who have made significant contributions to their companies in executive, managerial or professional capacities. The YWCA also recognized The Valley Hospital for its role in the advancement of women in business.

Nancy came to Valley in 2000 with extensive experience in Oncology Services.  Managing more than 100 employees and physicians, Nancy oversees Valley’s oncology services with administrative and fiscal responsibility for the hospital’s cancer program, which is comprised of diagnostic and treatment services, radiation oncology, acute inpatient care, medical oncology, ambulatory intravenous services, early detection and prevention programs, oncology registry, cancer committee, community education and clinical trials. 

The Awards were presented in April at the 36th Annual TWIN Awards Dinner, held at the Marriott at Glenpointe in Teaneck.  The TWIN Diamond Award bestowed on each honoree is designed to signify the many facets of a woman’s life.
