Do you have a patient who wants to learn how to improve his/her eating habits? Is there someone who could benefit from one-on-one nutrition counseling? If so, help is available at Lawrence Hospital Center’s Outpatient Nutrition Counseling Program. This summer, the program will offer special classes for those who want to learn how to improve their quality of life and eating habits. Classes cost a nominal fee and include a cooking demonstration or hands-on activity; group discussion; and visual aids. Additionally, grocery store tours are available as well as a 10-week group weight-loss program.
