Teaneck, NJ – April 14, 2010 – Holy Name Medical Center has named Dan Leber of Fort Lee and owner of Volk/Leber Funeral Homes in Teaneck and Oradell, NJ as Committee Chairman for the Founders Circle. The Founders Circle is the annual leadership giving society for the Holy Name Health Care Foundation.
Mr. Leber has had a long-standing relationship with Holy Name serving as a Trustee of the Medical Center, a member of the Foundation's Development Committee, and a member of the Medical Center's Facilities Committee.
"I'm honored to have been appointed to this important post and excited to engage present and future supporters of Holy Name Medical Center," said Mr. Leber. "My commitment to Holy Name has been tremendously rewarding, stretching back to 1994 when I first became involved with the Holy Name Health Care Foundation. I believe in their healing mission and know first-hand of their award-winning patient care. I know others will join me."
"With Dan Leber as Chairman of our Founders Circle and with him reaching out to other leaders and executives in the community, I'm confident that we will raise critical funds for Holy Name Medical Center," said Kevin McCarthy, vice president of development and executive director of the Holy Name Health Care Foundation. "The goal of the Founders Circle is to raise unrestricted gifts, which are by far the most important for the Medical Center as these funds are distributed to areas of greatest need throughout the year. Monies raised through the Founders Circle annual leadership giving program have the potential to help Holy Name remain at the forefront of medical service delivery by funding vital capital projects."
The Founders Circle supports Holy Name Medical Center's pursuit of excellence and helps to ensure that programs and services continue to meet the diverse needs of the community. Membership is annual and affords special opportunities, benefits and programs throughout the year.
