Teaneck, NJ – April 22, 1010 – Holy Name Medical Center has been recognized with an Excellence through Insight award for emergency department satisfaction in 2009 by HealthStream® Research, the research business group of HealthStream, Inc. To qualify for the honor, a hospital must secure patient satisfaction scores in the 75th percentile of higher; Holy Name has exceeded that standard by demonstrating an ongoing commitment to excellence and patient care, scoring no lower than the 96th percentile since April 2009, with scores in the 99% percentile during the second and fourth quarters of that year.
Patients were randomly selected and interviewed by HealthStream® researchers, whose survey covered a wide range of Emergency Department attributes. Holy Name Medical Center received top scores for the following criteria:
