Ridgewood, NJ – June 23, 2009 – The Oncology Clinical Trials Department at The Valley Hospital has been named one of the top three performing institutions in the country by the American College of Surgeon’s Oncology Group (ACOSOG).  The Oncology Clinical Trials Department is located at Valley’s Daniel & Gloria Blumenthal Cancer Center in Paramus.

Top performing sites are selected based on several criteria that evaluate the quality of their patient selection, data submission and other factors. Valley’s Oncology Clinical Trials Department was recognized as a top performer at ACOSOG’s annual meeting in Florida on June 18 and 19^th. 

The American College of Surgeons Oncology Group is a clinical trial cooperative group supported publicly by the National Cancer Institute.
