Nyack, NY - November 30, 2008 - Fern Schwartz, a veteran of the nonprofit sector with extensive experience in the critical area of donor development has joined Nyack Hospital as Vice President, Development.
As Vice President, Development, Ms. Schwartz will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic approaches, including the engagement and cultivation of current and prospective major gift donors, capital campaign, and planned giving.
Ms. Schwartz comes to Nyack Hospital from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine where she spent over 12 years, most recently as the Senior Major Gifts Officer. She holds a Master of Science Degree in Education from Brooklyn College and received her undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at New Paltz. She is a White Plains resident.
