Nyack, NY - October 1, 2008 - Are you a recent retiree looking to fill your time, a professional looking to give back, or a student who is interested in community service?  If so, The Nyack Hospital Auxiliary Thrift Shop is the place for you!  Volunteers at the Thrift Shop are a diverse group of people, made up of dedicated men, women, and teenagers who give the most important gift of all - their precious time. The Nyack Hospital Thrift Shop, located in the Franklin Antiques Mall at 142 Main Street in Nyack, offers an ever-changing array of merchandise for sale at bargain prices.  Volunteers in the Thift Shop assist in preparing donations for sale to customers, arranging merchandise, operating the cash register, and providing customer service to resourceful shoppers.

The Thrift Shop is open Tuesday - Saturday, from 10:00 am - 3:30 pm, and is closed Sundays and Mondays.  For more information about becoming a volunteer at the Thrift Shop, please call 845.348.2204.
