Cooperstown, NY - September 15, 2008 - Frank Panzarella has joined Bassett Healthcare as Vice President of Operations for the Bassett Physician Group. In his role he will work closely with physician and administrative leaders on clinical operations and program implementation.

Additionally, my wife and I are delighted to be back in the region, having both attended school at Hartwick and she having trained at Bassett as a nursing student."
Mr. Panzarella comes to Bassett from Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), Boston, Mass., where he served with RCG HealthCare Consulting, a business unit of MGH that provides international consulting services. He brings a broad-based understanding of operations, physician group practices, and information technology and its implementation in the practice of medicine.
Mr. Panzarella received his undergraduate degree in both business administration and information science from Hartwick College, Oneonta, N.Y., and a Master of Health Services Administration from the University of Michigan. He is also a certified health care executive holding the credential of Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
He and his wife Jennifer and their two children will reside in the Cooperstown area.
