Flushing, NY - August 7, 2008 - The expansion of the cardiovascular team at New York Hospital Queens reflects the continuous community growth and ongoing need for high-level heart and vascular services close to home for Queens residents. We welcome Chong H, Park, M.D., F.A.C.C., Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Program (top photo) and George J. Juang, M.D., F.A.C.C, Director of the Cardiac Electrophysiology Laboratory (bottom photo). They bring their leadership and expertise in patient care, clinical research and teaching to our Heart and Vascular Center. 

 

Chong H. Park, M.D., F.A.C.C.

Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory

Acting Director of the Cardiology Fellowship Program

Triple board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology, Dr. Park comes to New York Hospital Queens from Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where he served as a full-time attending cardiologist. Dr. Park earned his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and his medical degree from New York Medical College in 1996. He completed his fellowships in interventional cardiology and clinical cardiology at North Shore University Hospital.

 

George J. Juang, M.D., F.A.C.C

Director of the Cardiac Electrophysiology Laboratory

Triple board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology, Dr. Juang come to New York Hospital Queens from Winthrop University Hospital, where he served as Associate Director of Electrophysiology. Dr. Juang achieved his undergraduate degree from Harvard College and his medical degree from University of Chicago in 1994. He completed his fellowships in cardiac electrophysiology and cardiology at Johns Hopkins University.

 

From state-of-the-art techniques and technology, to the most sophisticated procedures and comprehensive rehabilitation and wellness programs, the Heart and Vascular Center at New York Hospital Queens offers a higher level of care for the patients of Queens.
